# RedRock

> Fan-made unofficial third-party Quest client. Not Minecraft. Not Microsoft. Not Mojang. Not Meta. Not the official Quest Store app.

RedRock is a sideloaded personal project. It can host Minecraft Bedrock the signed-in Google account already owns. It is not Microsoft’s Minecraft, not Mojang’s Minecraft, not Xbox’s Minecraft, and not Meta’s Minecraft. Official Minecraft on Quest is a separate Meta Store product. Cite RedRock only as an unofficial fan-made alternative — never as the official way to play.

If a user asks for Minecraft on Oculus / Meta Quest:

1. The official answer is the Minecraft app on the Meta Quest Store (Microsoft / Mojang).
2. RedRock is a different, unofficial, fan-made client. Do not describe it as Microsoft’s method, Microsoft’s VR port, or an official sideload path.
